Matatandaang nag-landfall ang bagyo bandang 9:10 ng gabi, Linggo, Nobyembre 9, sa Dinalungan, Aurora. Sa pag-landfall nito, humina ito dahil sa interaksyon sa kalupaan, ayon sa PAGASA.
Bandang 11:00 PM nang humina ito bilang "typhoon."
Ayon sa weather bureau, as of 7:00 AM, namataan ang sentro ng bagyo sa 125 kilometers west northwest ng Bacnotan, La Union. Taglay ang lakas ng hangin na papalo sa 15 kph at pagbugsong 230 kph.
