Muling naglabas ng panawagan si Cavite 4th District Rep. Kiko Barzaga kaugnay sa pagtatayo ng sariling gobyerno para sa Visayas at Mindanao.
Ayon sa video statement na isinapubliko ni Barazaga sa kaniyang Facebook account nitong Huwebes, Nobyembre 6, tinuunan niya ng pansin ang trahedyang naganap sa Cebu dahil sa pananalasa ng Bagyong Tino.
“The corruption has killed the people of Cebu,” pagsisimula niya.

Ani Barzaga, inakusa niyang marami na raw “nanakaw” ang Pamahalaan sa taumbayan.
“The national government has stolen too much of the people. First, it was only our money and our national pride, but now we have reached the point where corrupt politicians are directly taking human lives as well,” saad niya.
“There is no more hope for the Marcos administration. Our President steals and parties while our citizens suffer and drown,” dagdag pa niya.
Dahil dito, muling pinananawagan ni Barzaga ang Visayas secession kasama ang pagtatayo rin ng sariling gobyerno sa Mindanao.
“Which is why, alongside with Mindanao, I will call upon the people of Cebu and the rest of Visayas to join our calls for secession,” aniya.
“Instead [of having] your taxes and natural resources exploited by the elites of the National Capital Region, let us instead create an independent government that truly acts in the service of the people,” paliwanag pa niya.
“Let us create a future for Visayas and Mindanao that is decided by their own people rather than one dictated by Marcos and his political allies,” pagtatapos pa ni Barzaga.
Samantala, wala pa namang inilalabs na pahayag ang Palasyo kaugnay rito.
Matatandaang pinatutsadahan na rin noon ni Barzaga ang mga politiko na nasa National Capital Region (NCR) kaugnay ng panawagan niyang pagkalas ng Mindanao sa Pilipinas.

“As the second largest island in our country, with a population of almost 28 million people, the interests of the people of Mindanao is not one we can ignore or consider as less important than those of the people of Luzon,” saad ni Barzaga noong Oktubre 17, 2025.
“The desire of secession of Mindanao in response to the extreme corruption of the wealthy elites of the NCR who look down upon them as lesser beings is a vary valid sentiment and one that I wish to bring to our government,” pagtatapos pa niya.
