Muling naglabas ng pahayag si Davao 1st district Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte patungkol sa planong paimbestigahan sa Kamara ni ACT Teachers Rep. Antonio Tinio ang umano’y mga red flag na flood-control contracts sa Davao City.
“Sa 121 flood control projects sa Davao City mula 2019 hanggang 2022. Ang findings natin sa 121 na ito, mayroong 80 contracts na may red flag na nagkakahalagang 4.35 billion pesos in total,” saad ni Tinio noong Miyerkules, Nobyembre 5, 2025.

Aniya, nasuri at naimplementa raw ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at Commission on Audit (COA) ang lahat ng flood-control projects na isinagawa sa Davao at Matina Rivers.
“Every single flood-control project along the Davao and Matina Rivers was implemented, inspected, and validated by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Commission on Audit (COA)[...]” giit ni Pulong.
Pagpapatuloy pa ni Pulong, pagpipilit at “ignorant attempt” lang daw ang pagdadawit ng Davao City sa “circus” ngayong nagaganap sa politika.
“Tinio’s so-called exposé is nothing but a desperate and ignorant attempt to drag Davao into another circus of baseless accusations. You claim to have “uncovered” anomalies — but did you ever question DPWH with your so-called facts? Or did you just piece together numbers to sound relevant again[...]” aniya.
Suhestiyon pa ni Pulong, silipin din daw ng awtoridad ang sinabi noon ni dating Ilocos Sur governor Luis "Chavit" Singson na imbestigahan ang mga maanomalyang flood-control projects sa Luzon partikular sa Ilocos Norte.

“If you truly believe in accountability, start where it actually matters. Why not inspect Luzon where even former Governor Chavit Singson himself admitted there are ghost and substandard projects[...]” anang congressman.
Tila nagbigay rin ng payo si Pulong para kay Tinio, pumunta raw siya sa Davao at tingnan ang mga napagawang proyekto doon.
“So here’s my advice to Tinio: come to Davao, walk the riverbanks, see the projects, and talk to the people whose homes no longer flood because of those structures. Then maybe you’ll realize the only thing missing in your so-called investigation is the truth,” ‘ika niya.
“Until then, stop using Davao as your political punching bag. We don’t owe anyone an apology for doing our job right,” pagtatapos pa ni Pulong.
