Kinondena ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) CALABARZON ang umano’y korapsyon, “misconduct,” at “unlawful activity” ng isa sa kanilang mga personnel.
Kaugnay ito sa pagkakaaresto ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) sa Officer-in-Charge of the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) ng Calaca, Batangas kamakailan, matapos umano nitong hingian ang isang lokal na residente ng kabuuang P7 milyon kapalit ang pag-iisyu ng isang Alienable and Disposable Zones Certificate.
Sa inilabas na pahayag ng DENR 4A Calabarzon sa kanilang Facebook post nitong Martes, Nobyembre 4, sinisiguro daw ng kanilang opisina ang integridad at pananagutan sa ngalan ng serbisyo-publiko.
“The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) CALABARZON issues this statement in response to the report released by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) regarding the arrest of the Officer-in-Charge of the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) in Calaca, Batangas on October 30, 2025,” panimula nila.
Pagpapatuloy nila, “Based on an incident report from CENRO Calaca, a group of individuals, who later identified themselves as operatives from government law enforcement agencies, entered the DENR-CENRO Calaca premises around 3:33 PM on October 30, 2025. The group proceeded directly to the office of the CENR Officer, where an entrapment operation was reportedly conducted, leading to the arrest of the said officer on allegations of robbery-extortion relating to the issuance of a certification on the classification of land.”
“The DENR CALABARZON condemns any form of corruption, misconduct, or unlawful activity involving its personnel. We are committed to ensuring that integrity and accountability remain at the core of our public service,” anang DENR 4A Calabarzon.
Inilahad din ng ahensya na sila ay nakikibahagi sa kasalukuyang imbestigasyon ng naturang insidente, at pinaalalahanan ang publiko na iulat sa kanila kung may mamataang kahina-hinalang aksyon, lalo na kung ito raw ay may kaugnayan sa kanilang mga personnel.
“To this end, the DENR is fully cooperating with any ongoing investigation of the reported incident. In addition, a Regional Special Order has been issued to create an internal investigating team headed by Assistant Regional Director for Management Services, Atty. Liezl E. De Mesa, to conduct a separate investigation on the matter and ensure that all internal procedures are observed in accordance with civil service laws, rules, and regulations,” saad nila.
“To ensure uninterrupted public service and office operations, Supervising Ecosystems Management Specialist Engr. Rosalia M. Balicanta has been designated as the In-Charge of the CENRO Calaca, Batangas, effective immediately,” dagdag pa nila.
“The DENR CALABARZON is committed to transparency and due process, and appropriate actions will be taken based on the results of both internal and external investigations. We also reiterate our call for the public to report any suspected misconduct involving DENR personnel through our official channels so these may be promptly addressed,” pagtatapos ng DENR 4A Calabarzon.
