Ipinag-utos ni Most Rev. Alberto “Abet” Uy ang pagbubukas ng mga simbahan sa Cebu, para magsilbing silungan ng mga residenteng maaapektuhan ng Bagyong Tino.
Ibinahagi ng “The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cebu” sa kanilang Facebook post nitong Lunes, Nobyembre 3, ang nasabing anunsyo ng arsobispo.
“As Archbishop of Cebu, I have directed all priests to open the churches within the archdiocese as shelters for those seeking refuge during the storm,” ani Archbishop Uy.
Nilinaw naman ng arsobispo na hindi sinasakop ng direktibang ito ang mga simbahang naapektuhan ng lindol kamakailan.
“However, this does not include churches that were damaged by the recent earthquake,” aniya.
“Please stay safe and keep everyone in your prayers,” dagdag pa niya.
