Itinuturing ng lead vocalist ng bandang Eraserheads na si Ely Buendia ang IV of Spades bilang “The Beatles” ng Pilipinas.
Sa isang X post ni Ely kamakailan, sinabi niya ang tungkol sa bagay na ito at kinuha pa ang opinyon ng netizens.
Aniya, “IVOS is the Beatles of the Philippines don’t you agree?”

Ang IV of Spades ay isang rock band na binubuo ng apat na miyembro—sina Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, Badjao de Castro, at Unique Salonga. Higit silang nakilala noong 2018 dahil sa kantang “Mundo.”
Samantala, ang Eraserheads naman ay ang bandang kinabibilangan ni Ely kasama sina Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, at Raimund Marasigan na pare-parehong mula sa University of the Philippines noon.
Nabuo ang nasabing banda noong 1989.
