Mayor Leni Robredo, ikinasa panukalang 'No Gift Policy' sa mga opisina sa Naga

Ipinatupad ni dating Vice President at Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo ang ‘No Gift Policy’ sa lahat ng mga opisina Local Government Unit (LGU) ang “No Gift Policy” sa buong siyudad ng Naga. 

Ayon sa ibinahaging post ni Robredo sa kaniyang Facebook nitong Lunes, Oktubre 27, makikita ang ulat sa pagpapatupad nila ng “No Gift Policy” batay umano sa Executive Order No. 58, series of 2025 ng nabanggit na alkalde. 

“All offices of the city government will soon be displaying “No Gift Policy” posters in their entrances and public areas, following Mayor Leni Robredo’s issuance of Executive Order No. 58, which institutionalizes a comprehensive prohibition on the giving and receiving of gifts in any form,” pagsisimula nila.

Sen. Bato, masayang nakita ang apo

Mababasa sa nasabing Executive Order ang pag-uutos ni Robredo na hindi umano maaaring tumanggap o mag-solicit ng anomang regalo, pabor, loan, serbisyo at iba pa ang mga kawani sa mga opisina ng kanilang Pamahalaan. 

“Accordingly, officials and employees of the City Government shall not solicit or accept, directly or indirectly, any gift, gratuity, favor, entertainment, loan, discount, service, or anything of monetary value from any individual or entity by reason of office, in the course of official duties, or in connection with any operation, regulation or transaction affected by their functions[...],” mababasa sa EO no. 58 ni Robredo. 

“This Order applies to all City officials and employees, whether elective or appointive, permanent or temPorary, coterminous, casual, contractual, or iob order, including personnel of local economic enterprises, special bodies, and proiect units[...]” paglilinaw pa sa nasabing EO. 

Samantala, maaari umanong maharap sa reprimand, suspension, o dismissal ang sinomang mapapatunayang lumabag sa nasabing “No Gift Policy,” 

“Any violation of this Executive Order shall subject the offender to administrative penalties under Civil Service rules (reprimand, suspension, or dismissal); criminal prosecution under RA 3019, RA 6713, PD 46, and related laws; and/or forfeiture or recovery of any prohibited gift or benefit,” paliwanag sa EO 58.
