Tapatang sinabi ni Atty. Jesus Falcis na may duda umano siyang gagawin ni Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong ang kaniyang suhestiyon na ito’y bumaba na sa puwesto.

Ibinahagi ni Atty. Falcis ang mga maaanghang na pahayag na ito sa kaniyang Facebook post nitong Lunes, Oktubre 27, kasabay ang rekomendasyon nitong magpokus muna si Magalong sa sariling bakuran at tao nito.

“Bago ka umikot Mayor Magalong sa buong Pilipinas at magpa-interview araw-araw sa lahat ng media outlets, baka pwedeng mag focus ka muna sa sarili mong bakuran at mga tao,” ani Falcis.

Pinuna niya rin ang umano’y pagsuporta ni Mayor Benjie sa “mall-ification” ng Baguio City Public Market na aniya, ayaw daw ng maraming taga-Baguio.

“You support the 'mall-ification' of the Baguio City Public Market — something MANY people in Baguio oppose,” aniya.

“So now people are speaking up. Rallying and protesting. Crying out to be heard. By you. This mall-ification issue is one of the reason why you almost lost the 2025 Elections and why your winning margin is very low compared to other Mayors for Good Governance,” dagdag pa niya. “But since it’s your 3rd and last term, maybe you don’t seem to care as much anymore given that it’s an open secret that you have your eyes set on 2028 — running for Senator at the very least!”

Suhestiyon pa ni Falcis, pakinggan at tularan daw ni Magalong si Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, na pokus lamang sa constituents nito, at wala umanong plano na tumakbo sa 2028.

“Yan ang problema pag ang isang Mayor na 24/7 full-time job eh namumulitika para sa mas mataas na posisyon — napapabayaan ang trabaho sa Baguio City, na inamin mo mismo sa isang interview with GMA News nuong September 21,” saad ni Falcis.

“Dapat makinig ka at tularan mo yung co-founder mo sa Mayors For Good Governance na si Mayor Vico Sotto — walang plano tumakbo sa 2028 at focused na focused sa Pasig City kahit 3rd and last term na din,” dagdag pa niya.

“Is it good governance to support mall-ification and neglect the needs of your constituents para mamulitika for 2028? I don’t think so. Mag resign ka na lang kaya as Baguio City Mayor para maka focus ka full-time sa 2028, Mr. Benjamin Magalong. But I doubt you will kasi makapal ang mukha mo,” pagtatapos niya.

Matatandaang kamakailan lamang ay nagsampa ng disbarment case si dating Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero laban kay Atty. Jesus Falcis, kaugnay umano sa mga social media post ng abogado laban sa kaniya.
