“I confronted Brawner. It was the chihuahua who barked. Jay Tarriela — a discharged PMA cadet allegedly for cheating — now trying to climb ranks by licking boots and attacking those against the bangag administration,” saad ni Pulong.
Dagdag pa niya, “Stop using the Coast Guard to chase your personal ambitions. If you want respect, earn it first. Not by barking. Not by brown-nosing.Not by dragging your institution into your insecurity.”
Aniya, “[M]y statement was never about China or any nation but one that is borne out of concern for Filipino lives…a matter which this government has failed miserably to protect both locally and internationally.”
“General Brawner merely stated a technical fact about the system’s range and clarified that its presence is for training and capability-building purposes—part of the AFP’s ongoing modernization efforts to strengthen national defense,” pahayag ng AFP.
Ani Tarriela, “These alliances are not gambles with Filipino lives; they are calculated steps to safeguard our sovereignty against real and escalating threats.”
“We want peace, security, and sovereignty too—but not the illusion of it, bought with denial and isolation. Who are you really serving, sir?” pahabol pa ng PCG spokesperson sa huling bahagi ng kaniyang pahayag.
