Umalma si Mamamayang Liberal Partylist Rep. Leila de Lima sa pagkaka-acquitt nina Juan Ponce Enrile, Janet Napoles, at Gigi Reyes Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam o “pork barrel” scam.

Sa isang shared post sa social media platform na Facebook noong Biyernes, Oktubre 24, 2025, inihayag ni De Lima ang kaniyang pagkadismaya sa nasabing desisyon.

“This is always what is so frustrating for the Ombudsman and the DOJ. We started fresh and strong on the evidence when we filed the PDAF cases, strong enough to even deny Enrile and Reyes bail in the separate plunder cases,” anang mambabatas.

Pinuna rin niya ang tila hustisyang naka-angkla lang daw sa memorya ng taumbayan na mabilis makalimot sa mga isyu ng bansa.

“The problem is the slow wheels of justice, with the accused relying on the public's short memory to eventually be absolved because of less scrutiny over their cases over years of trial,” saad ni De Lima.

Kung ganito lang daw ang mangyayari sa paniningil ng taumbayan para sa hustisya ng maanomalyang flood control projects, saad ni De Lima, “If this is what will happen to the flood control project cases, good luck to us. But then, some people are just really luckier than others.”

Matatandaang noong Biyernes, Oktubre 24, nang ibasura ng anti-graft court’s Special Third Division ang kaso nina Enrile.

Noong 2013 nang makasuhan ng plunder sina Enrile bunsod ng maanomalyang paggamit ng kaniyang Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) mula 2004 hanggang 2010.

Habang si Napoles naman ay na-convict ng plunder noong 2018 kaugnay naman ng pork barrel funds ni dating senador Bong Revilla.

Maliban kina Enrile, nauna nang ma-acquit sina Revilla at ngayo'y senador na si Sen. Jinggoy Estrada.
