May katiting na posibilidad umanong naabo ang ilang dokumento sa nangyaring sunog sa gusali ng Department of Public Works and Highways sa Quezon City.

Sa pagdinig ng Senate Committee on Justice and Human Rights nitong Miyerkules, Oktubre 22, sinabi ni Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) Chairperson Andres Reyes Jr. na 1% umano ng mga dokumento ang nawala dahil sa naturang insidente.

Ngunit ayon sa pahayag mismo ng DPWH, nilinaw nilang wala umanong napinsalang flood-control projects documents.

“The DPWH confirms that no documents related to the ongoing investigation into the flood control anomalies were in the Bureau of Research and Standards (BRS) building that caught fire in Quezon City today,” saad ng ahensya.

Batay sa inisyal na imbestigasyon, nagsimula ang sunog mula sa computer unit na sumabog sa loob ng Materials Testing Division.
