Muling pinatutsadahan ni Cavite 4th district Rep. Kiko Barzaga ang mga politiko na nasa National Capital Region (NCR) kaugnay ng panawagan niyang pagkalas ng Mindanao sa Pilipinas.
Sa kaniyang Facebook post nitong Sabado, Oktubre 18, 2025, iginiit ng mambabatas na mala-Singapore na raw sana ang Mindanao kung hindi dahil sa mga korap na politiko sa NCR.
“Mindanao could’ve been like Singapore if it wasn’t for the Corrupt Politicians in the NCR,” ani Barzaga.
Noong Biyernes, Oktubre 17, nang ilabas ni Barzaga ang kaniyang video message kung saan mapapanood na iginiit niyang panahon na raw para sa “Mindanao secession.”

“As the second largest island in our country, with a population of almost 28 million people, the interests of the people of Mindanao is not one we can ignore or consider as less important than those of the people of Luzon,” saad ni Barzaga.
Dagdag pa niya, “The desire of secession of Mindanao in response to the extreme corruption of the wealthy elites of the NCR who look down upon them as lesser beings is a vary valid sentiment and one that I wish to bring to our government.”
Matatandaang matagal nang usapin sa bansa ang mga panawagang ibukod ang Mindanao bunsod umano nang hindi pantay na trato ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas sa pangangailangan nito kumpara sa pagbibigay-prayoridad sa Luzon.
