Sumulat si Ako Bicol Partylist Rep. Elizaldy Co kay House Speaker Faustino Dy hinggil sa pagkaka-revoke ng kaniyang travel clearance. 

Ayon kay Co, ikinalungkot at ikinabahala raw niya nang matanggap ang kautusan ni Dy na nagre-revoke sa kaniyang travel clearance.

“I received news of your revocation of my travel clearance with both sadness and grave concern,” ani Co.

Iginiit din niyang tila pinagkakaitan daw siya ng sapat na oras upang makapagpagamot matapos ang palugit na 10 araw para makabalik siya ng bansa.

“I am saddened that my colleagues in the House of Representatives would deprive me of the time needed for medical care that I have long previously scheduled,” saad ni Co.

Dagdag pa niya, “ And gravely concerned that the decision to revoke my travel clearance was borne by pressure, rather than adherence to facts and procedure.”

Paglilinaw pa ni Co, may intensyon daw siyang bumalik ng bansa upang mapabulaanan umano ang mga paratang ibinabato laban sa kaniya kaugnay ng maanomalyang flood control projects.

Aniya, “I have every intention of returning to the Philippines. I am also intent on belying the false claims made against me before the proper forum.”

Matatandaang noong Setyembre 19 nang ilabas ni Speaker Dy ang kautusang nagre-revoke sa travel clearance ni Co at nagtatakda na makabalik siya ng bansa sa loob ng 10 araw.

“This revocation is issued in the paramount interest of the public and due to the existence of pressing national matters requiring your physical presence,” anang House Speaker.

“You are hereby DIRECTED to return to the Philippines within 10 calendar days from your receipt of this notice. Your immediate return is necessary to address the aforementioned matters with urgency,” saad ni Dy.

Matatandaang nagtungo sa Amerika si Co, para umano si isang extensive health consultation.

“I made an initial inquiry sa Office of the Secretary General. Sa pagkakaalam ko, he's currently out of the country,” ani House Spox Princess Abante.

Habang sa hiwalay na pahayag naman nang igiit ni Ako Bicol Partylist Rep. Alfredo Garbin na nag-90/60 raw ang blood pressure ni Co kung kaya’t kinailangan niyang manatili sa Amerika matapos ihatid ang kaniyang anak.

“When I talked to him yesterday, sabi n'ya yung doktor n'ya found out na 90/60 [blood pressure], and the doctor said that 'We need an extensive checkup on your heart’," ani Garbin.
