Inamin ni Cavite 4th District Rep. Kiko "Congressmeow" Barzaga na produkto umano siya ng nepostimo.
Sa inilabas na panayam ni Barzaga sa showbiz insider na si Ogie Diaz sa YouTube noong Miyerkules, Setyembre 17, walang pag-aalinlangang inihayag ni Congressmeow na isa siyang “nepo baby.”
“Hindi ako magsisinungaling, okay? Kung sasabihin mong nepo baby ako, I completely agree to that,” saad ni Barzaga.
Aniya, hindi lang umano mahusay na politiko ang kaniyang ama na si dating Cavite 4th District Elpidio Barzaga Jr. kundi magaling din itong abogado.

“My father is, let’s just say, he is a successful lawyer. He has some made of money. Nakita mo naman, he is not just successful in congress but he’s also successful in the field of law.
“He has been involved in high profile cases. Including the Corona impeachment and in the ABS CBN franchise issue, oo, sa franchise renewal.
“So, yes. He makes money and he gives me money,” pagkukuwento ng Congressmeow.
Pagtatanong naman ni Ogie, “[s]o, no’ng binibigyan ka ng pera, dini-display mo kaya naaano ‘yong mga tao? Ano ka ba, member ka ba ng networking?”
Iginiit naman ni Barzaga na totoo ang mga biro niya noon tungkol sa cryptocurrency kaya lagi siyang nagpapakita ng maraming pera umano sa social media.
“‘Yong mga crypto-crypto, joke lang ‘yon. Ako, wala akong alam sa mga crypto[...] I have no financial ability in cryptocurrency,” anang Barzaga.
“So, inaamin mo na nepo baby ka?” pagtatanong pa ni Ogie.
Hindi naman ito pinabulaanan ni Barzaga at inihayag niyang isa ang pamilya nila na pinakamatagal nang political dynasty sa Dasmariñas, Cavite.
“Yes. I mean, that’s the first start. You have to admit that you are a product of nepotism. I, myself, am a product of political dynasty. And not just a political dynasty. We are one of the oldest dynasties in Cavite if you trace back to the history[...] Yes. and it’s true. We have a long history in politics. And if I deny that [then] I’m denying myself,” ‘ika pa ni Barzaga.
Itinanong naman ni Ogie kay Barzaga kung ano umano ang masasabi niya sa mga komento ng tao sa publiko na hindi umano wasto ang kinikilos niya sa loob ng House of Representative bilang isang congressman.
“Nababasa mo ba ‘yong mga comments ng mga netizen na ‘yong mga kinikilos mo raw ay unbecoming of a good congressman?” anang Ogie.
Sagot naman ni Barzaga, “[y]es. But like how many good congressmen do we have now? Sino ‘yong mga model congressman na dapat kong gayahin? Yes, I act differently from the other congressmen but if the average congressmen is a thief then that makes me less of a thief.”
Mainit ngayon ang pangalan ni Barzaga sa loob ng Kamara at social media dahil sa pagbatikos niya kay dating House Speaker Martin Romualdez at mga kaalyado nito.
