Binarda ni Cavite 4th district Rep. Kiko Barzaga si Senate President  Vicente "Tito" Sotto III hinggil sa pagging malapit nito kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

Sa kaniyang Facebook post nitong Huwebes, Setyembre 11, 2025, iginiit ni Barzaga na pawang ang mga Discaya lamang daw ang kinakaya ni Sotto at hindi raw si Romualdez.

"Discaya lang ang kaya mo, takot ka kay Romualdez," saad ni Barzaga.

Kaugnay nito, matatandaang noong Miyerkules, Setyembre 10, nang salagin ni Sotto ang naunang patutsada sa kaniya ni Barzaga na nalilimitahan umano ang imbestigasyon sa isyu ng flood control projects dahil sa pagkakaibigan nila ni Romualdez.

"There are many points he is missing. I’ve been a longtime friend of Martin Romualdez, Toby Tiangco, Albee Benitez, Benny Amante, Leila De Lima, Caloy Zarate, Paolo Duterte etc etc and many oldtimers in the HOR," ani Sotto.

Giit pa niya, "I follow what is right no matter who my friends are, close or not. In the Senate, the Blue Ribbon conducts the inquiry, not I. Fact check muna."

Narito naman ang nasabing pahayag ni Barzaga laban kay Tito Sen.

"The Romualdez issue incomparable with Vico Sotto’s investigation, I firmly believe that Mayor Vico is a good, honest man that is doing what is best for his city and country, but Tito Sotto’s closeness with Romualdez is limiting his options for investigation," anang mambabatas.

Tugon naman ni Sotto, "Do not use my godson to promote."

Samantala, wala pang inilalabas na pahayag si Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, hinggil sa naturang bangayan nina Barzaga at Tito Sen.
