Emosyonal ang naging kamakailang pagbisita ni Kitty Duterte sa ama at dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na nasa International Criminal Court, sa The Hague, The Netherlands.
“It was light but it was also very emotional because I’m only gonna be here for another 2 weeks before I go back and continue with my education, with work, and other personal matters that I need to attend to,” pagbabahagi ni Kitty sa kaniyang panayam sa vlogger na Alvin & Tourism.
Binanggit din niyang naging understanding ang ama sa lungkot na nadarama niya dahil malapit na umano siyang umalis sa The Hague, matapos ang mga pagbisita niya simula Agosto 2025.
“It’s okay if you are lonely, you just go home to your Mama Honeylet and to Mira. But then I told him na, ‘You know don’t worry about me, I’m okay. My home is wherever you are,’” aniya.

“But he also reminded me that I do have to prioritize my responsibilities also because I have a life as a 21-year old,” dagdag pa niya.
Isa pa raw sa naging dahilan ng emosyonal na pagbisita ay ang pagbanggit ng isa sa mga ICC guard kay Kitty na maghapon daw hinihintay ng ama at dating pangulo ang pagbisita ng mga kaanak sa nagdaang araw.
“It was an honest miscommunication and lack of organization with the arrangements namin sa DU but he understood naman, he said ‘It’s okay, this would not last forever and I am okay, do not worry about me,’” saad ni Kitty.
Nabanggit din niya na naisaayos naman na ang mga nasabing “miscommunication” kaya siya nakabisita sa ama.
Sinabi rin ni Kitty sa dating pangulo na maraming pa ring sumusuporta rito at naghihintay sa kaniyang pag-uwi.
“It’s been 5 months, but everyone’s just waiting for you to come home. There’s this never ending love and support from the people not just to you but to all the members of the family,” dagdag niya.
Sa kaugnay na balita, inaasahang gaganapin ang confirmation of charges hearing ng dating pangulo sa Setyembre 23 hanggang 26 para harapin ang mga kasong crimes against humanity noong “War on Drugs” ng kaniyang administrasyon.
