Pagkatapos ng GMA Gala rekta trabaho ang isang GMA News reporter upang maghatid ng balita sa nasusunog na barangay sa Caloocan.
Sa Facebook post ni EJ Gomez, ibinahagi niya na pagkatapos ng GMA Gala ay nagtungo siya sa Brgy. 160, Libis Baesa, Caloocan City para ibalita ang nangyayaring sunog doon pasado alas-10 ng gabi.
"From GMA Gala to sunog real quick." saad ni Gomez.
Dahil dito, usap-usapan sa social media kung saan hinangaan siya ng mga netizen dahil sa kaniyang dedikasyon sa pagbabalita.
Guro sa Tondo, tiklo; nangmolestya ng estudyante, testigo pinilit pang kumain ng ipis!
Kaugnay nito ibinahagi ni Gomez sa hiwalay na post na hangga't maaari ay binabalanse niya ang pagtatrabaho at pagpapahinga.
"For me, if there’s a chance to do something that makes us happy, I say we go for it. Minsan yun mismo, or ang change of mood natin ang nagpapagana sa atin to be more and do more at work. Nakakapagod magtrabaho but we’re not robots. If we can, spend time with nature, hangout with friends, go for a run, a swim, or to a party like GMA Gala lalo na kapag hindi pa naman po duty," anang news reporter.
"Pero, pag trabaho na, trabahong maayos naman. Sa trabahong meron po ako, umulan, bumagyo o kahit mausok pa yan, pupuntahan po namin sa abot ng aming makakaya para maihatid ng buo ang balita sa lahat—kahit galing pa po tayo sa GMA Gala," dagdag pa niya.
