Ikinuwento ni Asian Drama King Jericho Rosales ang tungkol sa first date nila ng “Lavender Fields” co-star niyang si Janine Gutierrez.
Sa latest episode ng vlog ni Karen Davila nitong Huwebes, Setyembre 19, tinanong ng Kapamilya broadcast-journalist si Jericho kung paano nito dinate si Janine.
“One day, I had asked her. ‘Would you like to do a script reading with me?’ I’m sure she has her own version of the story, but why would I ask for a script reading? But, she’s the only person I haven’t worked with. […] She was going to be my work wife, my wife in the show,” lahad ni Jericho.
“This is not some easy working relationship. […] So I was like, in my head: ‘Oh… Coffee. Script reading and coffee. So…I asked her, and I brought my iPad, and then we saw each other at a café. Then, I brought my iPad out,” wika niya.

At tila nahiwagaan daw si Jericho na nagawa niyang gumugol ng anim na oras na ang kausap lang ay si Janine.
“So, cut the long story short, six hours later, we never got to open the iPad. So, it was like, it ended up with like Japanese food at 3 P.M., and then she went to her lola, Pilita Corales. And then, that’s it. I was like, ‘Wow, I can spend six hours talking to this girl,’” aniya.
Matatandaang kinumpirma ni Jericho ang pagde-date nila ni Janine sa isang panayam ng ABS-CBN sa kaniya noong Agosto. Ito ay matapos silang maispatan nang ilang beses nang magkasama sa mga lakad.
