" In a historic move to make education accessible to all, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Open University System (PUP OUS) conducted its first-ever synchronous session within the walls of the Manila City Jail - Male Dormitory on September 18, 2024," anila.
"Seventy-two Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management program, participated in the groundbreaking session. The event marked a significant milestone in the university’s commitment to providing quality education to marginalized sectors of society."
"The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and determination as the PDL students embraced this unique opportunity to further their education. This initiative is expected to profoundly impact these students' lives, enabling them to pursue their dreams and contribute meaningfully to society upon their release."
