Nais ni Senador Robin Padilla na paimbestigahan sa Senado ang nangyaring operasyon ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa compound ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) sa Davao City para isilbi ang arrest warrants ni Pastor Apollo Quiboloy at limang iba pa.
Ayon kay Padilla nitong Biyernes, Hunyo 14, na inulat ng Manila Bulletin, ihahain niya ang isang resolusyon sa Martes, Hunyo 18, para maimbestigahan sa Senado ang umano’y "unnecessary at excessive force" na ginamit ng mga miyembro ng PNP sa kanilang pagsisilbi ng arrest warrant.
"In serving warrants, law enforcement should take into consideration the totality of the situation at hand which should not in any way violate the dignity of persons ... There is a need for the PNP to promote and protect human rights because these very acts are vital to the maintenance of public order, guarantee of public safety, and respect for the rule of law," nakasaad sa naturang resolusyon ni Padilla.

Ex-Pres. Duterte, kakasuhan mga pulis na nagsilbi ng warrant kay Quiboloy?
Binanggit din ni Padilla ang naging pahayag kamakailan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at ang mga ulat kung saan ni-raid daw ng mga operatiba ng PNP, kabilang na ang mula sa Special Action Force (SAF) at Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), ang premises ng KOJC kabilang na ang Prayer at Glory Mountains. Ilan umano sa mga misyonero ang nasaktan sa nangyari.
"In light of this event, former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, who has been recently designated as the Administrator of the KOJC properties, issued a statement that the alleged illegal raid was a clear violation of the law, and described it as an overkill in any language," saad ni Padilla.
Matatandaang nito lamang Huwebes, Hunyo 13, ay ipinahayag ni Duterte na nakatakda raw siyang magsagawa ng “legal at appropriate actions” sa mga pulis na gumamit ng “excessive at unnecessary force” sa pagsisilbi ng arrest warrant laban kay Quiboloy at sa limang iba pa.
Samantala, ang naturang pagsisilbi ng warrants ng mga pulis ay kaugnay umano ng inisyu ng Pasig City court para sa mga kasong qualified human trafficking cases na isinampa laban kay Quiboloy at sa limang iba pa.
Bukod sa naturang mga kaso ng qualified human trafficking, nahaharap din ang pastor sa mga kasong child at sexual abuse sa Davao City.
