“We shall prevail against these acts of violence.”

Ito ang pahayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa gitna ng kaniyang pagkondena sa naging pag-ambush sa apat na sundalo sa Maguindanao del Sur nitong Linggo, Marso 17.

Nasawi ang apat na sundalo matapos tambangan ng umano’y teroristang Dawlah Islamiyah (DI) sa Datu Hoffer Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur nitong Linggo ng umaga.

“We strongly condemn the cowardly ambush that targeted four of our courageous soldiers in Maguindanao del Sur on March 17,” pahayag ni Marcos sa isang X post nitong Lunes ng umaga, Marso 18.

“This despicable act only to strengthens our resolve to eradicate terrorism from the region and our entire nation,” dagdag niya.

Ayon pa sa pangulo, inatasan na niya ang pagbibigay ng tulong para sa pamilyang naiwan ng apat na sundalo.

“Under my administration, we remain resolute in our pledge to ensure that justice is swiftly served for our fallen heroes. I have instructed the immediate provision of benefits and assistance to support the families they leave behind,” ani Marcos.

“Let this tragic event unite us in our unwavering commitment for a safer, stronger, and insurgency-free Philippines. Together, we shall prevail against these acts of violence,” saad pa niya.
