Itinanggi ni Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa na may nalalaman ito sa pagkakasama ng pangalan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. sa umano'y drug watchlist ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).

Binigyang-diin ni Dela Rosa na ang umano'y watchlist ay mula sa PDEA at hindi sa Philippine National Police (PNP) na dating pinamumunuan nito sa panahon ng administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

“No idea ako. Hindi ko sinabing hindi ko nakita, basta 'di ko alam 'yan. Kung PDEA list 'yan, PDEA ang tanungin n'yo. Ang sabi PDEA list, so doon kayo sa PDEA magtanong, 'wag sa PNP, di ba?” ang senador.

Kamakailan, sinabihan ni Duterte si Marcos na isang drug addict at kasama ito sa watchlist ng PDEA.

Itinanggi na ng PDEA ang alegasyon ni Duterte.

"The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) categorically states that President Ferdinand R Marcos, Jr. is not in its watch list, contrary to the statement of former President Rodrigo Duterte, claiming that 'when he was the Mayor of Davao, he was shown evidence by PDEA that in the list, the name of the president was there,'" anang PDEA.

Bukod dito, minaliit din ni Marcos ang alegasyon at sinabing epekto lamang ito ng fentanyl.

"I think it’s the fentanyl... It is highly addictive and it has very serious side effects. And PRRD (President Rodrigo D. Duterte) has been taking the drug for a very long time now," paliwanag pa ng Pangulo.
