Inamin ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez na nami-miss na raw niya si Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sa isang press briefing nitong Biyernes, Enero 26, sinabi ni Romualdez na bihira na silang magkita ni Duterte dahil sa kani-kanila raw mga trabaho.
"Sa totoo lang po, nami-miss ko siya kasi dati parati kami magkasama, pero sa ating – our work now, she as the Vice President and secretary of DepEd (Department of Education) and me being the Speaker, we don't see each other as much,” ani Romualdez.
"So syempre I miss working together with her," dagdag pa niya.

Samantala, mariing itinanggi ng House leader na inatake niya ang bise presidente, at wala raw siyang inaatakeng sinumang kaalyado ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
"On my part I have not attacked any ally of this administration. I don't know what she's talking about," giit ni Romualdez.
"I respect the vice president. As my vice president, as my secretary of education, she has my full support. I don't know what I have said or done to attack her. Please identify those actuation.”
"Kung nakikinig siya sa mga marites o kung sinong senadora dyan, it's up to her," saad pa niya.
Ang naturang pahayag ni Romualdez ay kaugnay ng sinabi ni Duterte noong Miyerkules, Enero 24, hinggil sa kasalukuyan daw nilang relasyon.
“The very best description and comment kung ano ang relasyon namin ni Speaker Martin Romualdez is galing kay Senator Imee Marcos. Marami ang hindi nakakaintindi kung bakit inaatake mo ang kaalyado ng administrasyon,” ani Duterte.
Matatandaang si Romualdez ang isa sa dalawang campaign managers ni Duterte nang tumakbo ito binag bise presidente noong 2022 national elections.
