Ito ang pahayag ni Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs Irene Dumlao nitong Biyernes, Disyembre 22.
“The livelihood grant was given to assist the community in recovering their losses and to provide them with financial capital to start up with their livelihood,” ani Dumlao.
“The beneficiaries were mostly farmers and micro-enterprise owners who were hardest hit by the typhoon and whose livelihood and employment were affected,” paliwanag pa ng opisyal.
