Naglabas ng pahayag si dating Senador Leila de Lima hinggil sa P125M confidential funds na nagastos ng Office of the Vice President, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Vice President Sara Duterte, sa loob ng 11 araw.
Sinabi ni De Lima na isang “red flag” ang paggastos ng milyon-milyong pondo sa loob lamang ng 11 araw.

“Spending 125M in just 11 days is a glaring red flag, not to mention the questionable constitutionality of the fund transfer from the OP to OVP,” anang dating senador nitong Martes, Setyembre 26.
Bukod dito, sinabi rin ni De Lima na huwag daw sanang matakot ang Kongreso na busisiin ang nasabing halaga ng confidential funds.
“Huwag sanang matakot ang Kongreso sa patuloy nitong pagbusisi sa confi/intel funds ng OVP,” aniya.

Nakatakda sana nitong Martes ang plenary debate para sa proposed budget ng OVP para sa 2024, kung saan inaasahan ang pagdalo ni Duterte, ngunit hindi ito natuloy dahil sa “conflict” sa schedule ng OVP.
Ngayong Miyerkules, Setyembre 27, inaasahan ang naturang plenary debate.
