Halos 10,000 residente ng Abra na naapektuhan ng magkakasunod na bagyo ang tumanggap ng ayuda alinsunod sa Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) program, ayon sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Pinangasiwaan ng DSWD Field Office sa Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) ang pamamahagi ng ₱9,000 (para sa partially damaged ang bahay) hanggang ₱13,500 para sa mga pamilyang totally damaged ang bahay.
Sa pahayag naman ni DSWD-CAR Director Leo Quintilla, umabot na sa ₱90.54 milyon ang ipinamahagi ng ahensya sa nasabing lalawigan.

“The provision of ECT aims to assist the families to recover from the effects of the disaster that struck the province. They can use the cash aid to buy materials for the reconstruction of their houses,” aniya.
“We target to finish the payout of all funded ECT by September 14,” dagdag pa ni Quintilla.
