Hindi pa man nagaganap ang grand finals ng "Mini Miss U" segment ng noontime show na "It's Showtime," heto't tuluyan nang pinasok ng trending contestant na si Annika Co ang mundo ng showbiz, pagkatapos itong pumirma ng kontrata sa Viva Artists Agency (VAA).
Makikita ang anunsyo ng contract signing sa opisyal na Facebook page ng talent agency, Martes, Agosto 8.

Anne, naiyak sa isang contestant ng Mini Ms. U: 'What a genuinely kind and pure soul!'
Sa kaniyang sariling Facebook post naman ay nagpasalamat si Annika sa panibagong blessings na kaniyang natanggap.
"Thank you so much, God, for this blessing! 😇 Thank you for letting me meet friends who will support me in my journey."

Nag-trending si Annika dahil sa kaniyang talento sa pag-awit at ismarteng pagsagot sa mga tanong sa kaniya nina Anne Curtis at Vice Ganda.
Tumatak sa madlang people at madlang netizens ang naging skit nila ni Vice Ganda.
"Because you know I'm afraid that the audience might not like me," kunwari ay emote ni Vice.
"Who cares if the others don't like you? I like you and everybody else does," sagot ni Annika na ikinapalakpak at ikinahiyaw ng lahat.
"What matters is somebody still likes you."
Pinaulit naman ito ni Vice.
"If some people don't like you, then it's fine. What's important is (that) someone still likes you!"
"But who is that person that still likes me even if I'm no longer the best? Because people like people if they are the best, but once they learn you're not the best anymore, they don't like them?" untag naman ni Vice.
