Nagdulot ng iba't ibang balitaktakan at diskusyunan ang naging pahayag ni Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach hinggil sa pagkakaroon ng anak ng isang married woman.

Naniniwala umano si Pia na hindi sa pagkakaroon ng anak nasusukat ang worth o halaga ng isang babae, nang matanong siya tungkol dito ng host na si Anas Bukhash sa isang interview show sa YouTube channel na #ABTalks.

Natanong ng host si Pia kung bet ba niyang magkaroon ng anak sa mister na si Jeremy Jauncey.

"Yeah. Thanks for asking 'coz you know, people just ask me, 'When are you going to have kids?'" sagot ng Mrs. Jauncey.

Segunda naman ni Anas, "I don't think it's for everyone. I don't think marriage is for everyone. Because I'm just a logical man. I think if we think human beings are unique then how can everybody be a good father or a good husband or a good wife or a good mother? Maybe they don't like... maybe they can't stand kids and you shouldn't be ashamed to say 'They're so annoying or handful and I don't think I'll be a good parent.'"

"Well thank you though, because not everybody is like you. After I got married, I just keep hearing that question everywhere. Yeah! 'So, when's the baby... when are you going to have a baby?' And when you have a baby, 'when's the next baby?'" tugon naman ni Pia.

Sey ni Pia, napag-usapan na raw nila ng mister na si Jeremy na gusto nilang magka-anak, subalit naiintindihan daw nito kung sa ngayon, career muna ang iniisip niya.

"Thank you for asking. Yes, I do wanna have children one day. Not now, not at this point in my career and in my life and Jeremy is also fine with that but in the future we would love to have a family," dagdag pa niya.

"I think your worth as a woman is not measured by you being able to bear a child. Like, there's really so many more things to a woman than just bearing children. Some women do not want to have kids, some women want to be amazing at their careers."
