Nakarating ang masarap at mainit-init pang sabaw ng Pinoy foods na sinigang, bulalo, at tinolang manok sa listahan ng "50 Best Soups sa buong mundo" ng Taste Atlas, isang kilalang online food guide.

Sa inilabas na Facebook post ng Taste Atlas, naging top 42 ang sinigang na nakakuha umano ng 4.4 score, habang top 43 naman ang bulalo na mayroon ding 4.4 score.

Samantala, pagdating sa inilabas na full list ng 50 Best Soups in the World ng Taste Atlas sa kanilang website, naging top 46 ang sinigang na baboy, top 29 ang tinolang manok, at top 10 ang sinigang.

Ayon sa nasabing kilalang food guide, ang sinigang na baboy ay isang uri ng sinigang na binubuo ng iba't ibang hiwa ng baboy kasama ng bunga ng sampalok. Karaniwang ginagamit din umano rito ang mga kamatis, sibuyas, bawang, okra, puting labanos, water spinach at berdeng sili.

"There is also a similar dish in Malaysian cuisine called sinigang. A version of the pork sinigang is sinigang na miso, which uses the Japanese seasoning made from fermented rice and barley or soybeans. Nowadays, sinigang mix is available in supermarkets, but enjoying the dish made from scratch represents the full experience," anang Taste Atlas.

Sa paglalarawan naman ng Taste Atlas sa top 10 na sinigang, ito umano ay isang maasim na sabaw na binubuo ng bunga ng sampalok, kangkong, hot peppers, repolyo, broccoli, talong, kamatis, sibuyas, luya, bawang, green beans, patis, at asin.

"The basic broth usually consists of rice washing, with the addition of a souring agent. Ingredients such as pork, fish, milkfish, shrimp, chicken, or beef may also be added to the soup," anang TasteAtlas.

"Sinigang is traditionally served piping hot as a main dish, with rice as its accompaniment. It's an often seen dish at special occasions such as birthdays or weddings, and over time, as the dish became more popular, there were new variations that used guava or raw mango instead of sampalok, and each region developed their own version of the popular soup," saad pa nito.

Samantala, inilarawan ng TasteAtlas ang tinolang manok bilang isang "nourishing Filipino chicken soup".

Maaari umano itong buuin ng iba't ibang hiwa ng manok at mga laman-loob na niluto sa isang malasang sabaw kasama ng berdeng papaya at sili o dahon ng malunggay.

Ang sabaw nito ay karaniwang tinitimplahan ng luya, bawang, at patis. Kadalasan naman umano itong inihahain sa simpleng puting kanin.

"Chicken tinola is a staple in every Filipino household and can be enjoyed as a starter or a hearty main course," anang TasteAtlas.

Kamakailan lamang ay napabilang naman ang lambanong sa "10 Best Rated Spirits in the World".
