Binatikos ni Senador Imee Marcos ang International Criminal Court (ICC) nitong Biyernes, Marso 31, sa hindi umano nito pag-imbestiga sa mga krimen laban sa humanity na kinasangkutan ng mga bansang kanluranin.
Sinabi ito ni Marcos matapos ibasura ng ICC ang kahilingan ng pamahalaan ng Pilipinas na suspendihin ang imbestigasyon nito sa war on drugs ng administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.

Ipinahayag kamakailan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na hindi siya makikipagtulungan sa ICC dahil wala umano itong jurisdiction sa Pilipinas, at may justice system naman daw ang bansa.

“One glaring example of such failure concerns the 2003 war on Iraq which was pursued by Western powers, based on non-existent weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and in violation of resolutions by the United Nations,” ani Marcos.
‘’More than a million Iraqi soldiers and civilians were killed and displaced by that horrible war. Selective justice, anyone?"
Sinabi ni Marcos na nasa ika-20 taon ang kabiguan ng ICC na sagutin ang mga responsable sa nasabing krimen.
‘’Picking on African nations and other ‘low-hanging fruit’ like the Philippines is easier for the ICC. The perpetual circus of putting leaders of less developed countries on trial seeks to divert the world's attention from the crimes against humanity committed by the West. This diversion is necessary to prop up the false image of Western nations as the unimpeachable protectors of human rights,’’ saad ni Marcos.
‘’In case you haven't noticed, human rights issues are openly used as pressure points, as bargaining chips to serve Western neo-colonialism's intertwined political, economic, and military agenda,’’ dagdag niya.
Ayon pa kay Marcos, siyam sa 10 bansa ng Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) ay walang tiwala sa ICC at pinigil o binawi ang kanilang pagiging miyembro sa korte.
