Kasunod ng anunsyo ng bagong album ng English singer-songwriter na Ed Sheeran ay ang pagbibigay nito ng patikim para sa kaniyang comeback single na “Eyes Closed.”
Sa isang Instagram post, ipinaliwanag ni Ed kung tungkol saan ang kaniyang bagong awitin.
“This song is about losing someone, feeling like every time you go out I expect to just bump into them, and every thing just reminds me of them and things you did together," aniya.
“You sorta have to take yourself out of reality sometimes to numb the pain of loss, but certain things just bring you right back into it. Blue was Jamals colour, but now is all I feel. And I guess music helps heal, so I’m dancing with my eyes closed to try get through it," dagdag pa niya.

Ang “Eyes Closed” ang magsisilbing lead single sa bagong album ni Ed na “-“ (subtract) na siyang lalabas sa Mayo 5, 2023.
Si Ed ang nagpasikat ng mga awiting “Thinking Out Loud” at “Shape Of You” na nagbigay sa kanya Grammy awards.
