Matapos ang naging pahayag ni Liza Soberano tungkol sa kuwento sa likod ng "Hello, Love, Goodbye," usap-usapan naman ngayon ang naging pahayag ng Korean-American business partner ni James Reid na si "Jeffrey Oh" hinggil sa naunsyaming audition sana ng aktres para sa pelikulang "Spider-Man Homecoming."

Ayon kay Jeffrey, may imbitasyon kay Liza na mag-audition para sa leading lady ng gumanap na Spider-Man subalit hindi ito nagawa ng aktres dahil nakatali pa siya sa ABS-CBN.

Nagsalita umano si Oh sa ginanap na 2nd Philippine Creative Industries Summit sa harap ng audience, bilang bahagi ng panel.

“They reached out to her to audition (for the role of) Mary Jane, one of the most iconic characters. And she was not allowed because she had to do the same thing she was always doing,” ani Oh.

Ang naging dahilan daw kung bakit hindi natuloy rito si Liza ay dahil sa kontrata nito sa dating home network.

“Imagine a Filipina actress was (the star in) one of the biggest Marvel movies in history. Imagine she was Mary Jane, what that would do for Philippine entertainment."

“She could’ve been representing our country all over the world. There are other stars in the same situation,” aniya pa.

Ang role na "Mary Jane" ay napunta naman kay American actress-singer Zendaya.
