Nagpahayag ng pasasalamat sa Pilipinas ang Turkish government dahil sa pangakong magpadala ng tulong at search and rescue team sa Turkey dahil na rin sa magnitude 7.8 na lindol nitong Lunes na ikinasawi ng libu-libong residente.
Kaagad ding tiniyak ni Turkish Ambassador to the Philippines Niyazi Evren Akyol na kaagad na aasikasuhin ng Turkish Embassy ang pag-alis ng 85 na miyembro ng response team ng Pilipinas.
“The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye expresses its sincerest gratitude regarding the decision of President H.E. Marcos Jr, concerning the deployment of a search, rescue, relief and other assistance to Türkiye. We are moved by the generosity of the Government and the People of the Philippines in our time of need,” pahayag ni Akyol.
“This act of solidarity will surely strengthen the already solid bonds of friendship and cooperation between our countries,” banggit pa ni Akyol.

Nagpasya naman ang Philippine Embassy sa Ankara na i-half-mast ang bandila ng Pilipinas bilang pakikiisa sa pagdadalamhati ng international community kaugnay sa pagkasawi ng libu-libong residente dulot ng naturang kalamidad.
“Our deepest condolences goes out to the families and loved ones of all those affected in Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Hatay, Osmaniye, Adıyaman, Malatya, Şanlıurfa, Adana, Diyarbakır, and Kilis,” sabi ng embahada ng Pilipinas.
Sa datos ng embahada ng Pilipinas, nasa 3,381 ang nasawi sa Turkey at 20,426 naman ang nasugatan.
