Labis nang nag-aalala ang netizen na si "Mary Rose Ampoon" para sa kaniyang kaibigang si Dyan Gumanao, isang community worker, dahil tatlong araw na itong nawawala kasama ang kapwa community worker at fiance na si Armand Dayoha, simula nang dumaong umano ang sinakyang barko sa Cebu subalit hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa sila nakararating sa paroroonan.

Kuwento ni Mary Rose sa kaniyang Facebook post noong Sabado, Enero 14, dakong 8:10 ng umaga noong Enero 10, 2023 ay nakapag-text pa raw si Dyan sa kaniyang kapatid na lalaki, na dumaong na sa pier sa Cebu ang kanilang barkong sinakyan. Ang tinukoy na barko ay "𝗠𝗩 𝟮𝗚𝗢 𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔 𝗖𝗗𝗢 - 𝗖𝗘𝗕𝗨".

"It was the last anyone’s heard from her," ani Mary Rose.
