Good vibes ang hatid ng isang ‘meme’ na inupload ng isang Facebook user na si Kenneth Ramil tampok ang litrato kung saan makikita ang “before and after” umano ni Celeste na suot ang Darna inspired national costume.
“Ginulat mo talaga kami Celeste! Sayang hindi nahagip ng camera yung ginawa ni Celeste,” caption nito sa kaniyang post.
“I am a fan and a fashion stylist at the same time. I dressed up some of our representatives in different international pageants. (@styledbykennethr) I am part of a group chat ng mga friends ko na pageant fans so they were throwing off pictures sa gc then ayun nakita ko sinend nila yun from fb din ata,” kuwento ni Kenneth sa Balita online.

“Every Miss Universe talaga lumalabas ang kaharutan ng mga pageant fans and super happy talaga ako na inilaban na natin si Darna as national costume. Sa mga barangay pageant lang kasi natin siya madalas makita so ayun pinagsama ko lang kasi nakakatuwa din yung second photo,” dagdag pa niya.

Ang suot ni Celeste Cortesi na Darna inspired national costume ay hinangaan ng mga Pinoy pageant fans na gawa nina Oliver Tolentino at Jerome Navarro.
Nilikha ang karakter na “Darna” para sa Pilipino komiks ng manunulat na si Mars Ravelo at tagaguhit na si Nestor Redondo noong 1950. Sinuportahan naman ng programang Darna at ng Ravelo family ang ating pambato.
