Ilang araw bago ang pagdiriwang ng Pista ng Itim na Nazareno sa Enero 9, 2023 kabi-kabila ang paghahanda ng pamunuan ng Quiapo Church maging ng Pamahalaang Lokal ng Maynila.

Simula bukas, Enero 7, magkakaroon ng "Pagpupugay" event na magaganap sa Quirino Grandstand.

“Kapalit po nung Pahalik ay isinagawa po natin ang Pagpupugay.So, ang mangyayari po diyan, ang bawal lamang po ay humalik. Pero pepwede po ang lahat ng deboto na humawak, kung may panyo pwedeng ipamahid ang panyo. Pwede pong magmano, huwag lang pong humalik," ayon kayQuiapo Church adviser Alex Irasga.

Ang "Walk of Faith" naman ay magsisimula ng 2:00 AM ng Enero 8 mula Quirino Grandstand papuntang Quiapo church. Magpapatuloy ang mass activity sa Quirino Grandstand sa mismong araw ng pista sa Enero 9.

From Pasay Thru Roxas Blvd. going to Manila Hotel.

  1. From Roxas Blvd right turn to TM Kalaw.
  2. Left turn to Maria Orosa.
  3. Straight to Gen Luna/ U-turn to Round Table
  4. Right to P. Burgos.
  5. Right to Bonifacio Drive northbound.
  6. Take U-turn going to Bonifacio drive southbound.
  7. Enter at the Manila Hotel Bonifacio Gate.

From Quezon City thru Espania Blvd

  1. Right turn to Lacson Avenue (C2)
  2. Left turn to Tayuman St.
  3. Straight ahead to Capulong St.
  4. Left Turn to Road 10. until Anda Circle to Bonifacio Drive and/or from Anda Circle right to Roberto S. Oca St. then turn left to Delgado St. going to 25th St.  and enter at back gate of the hotel.
  5. Enter at the Manila Hotel Bonifacio gate.

From Caloocan City (Monumento Circle)

  1. Take the stretch of Rizal Avenue, then
  2. right to Jose Abad Santos Avenue
  3. right to CM Recto Avenue
  4. turn left at Delpan Bridge
  5. straight to Anda Circle, then
  6. right to Roberto S. Oca Street
  7. left to Delgado Street
  8. turn left at 25th Street, then
  9. enter the back gate of Manila Hotel.
