But i hope we dont say things like that to make people feel bad about themselves and the choices they made about their body," saad ni David sa kaniyang post noong Setyembre 22.

Romualdez, nanawagan sa Kamara: 'Let us reject baseless accusations!'

"Always remember, it's your body. your timing. your rules. let's celebrate and appreciate each other regardless of size, shape and color," dagdag pa niya.

Saad pa niya sa comment section, "Yung mga nagsabing tumaba ako noon, alam niyo na sasabihin niyo ngayon ah. bawi bawi din."

Samantala, tila maraming netizens ang naka-relate sa kaniyang post.

"I think in our culture, Lola’s and older aunties are so quick to comment on our weight. Don’t let that get to you. People who comment on others weights, they usually are projecting their problems to you. They are the problem."

"Same happened to me. I was called, lumba lumba, dambuhala. But instead na magmukmok, I used them as an inspiration na lang to lose weight."

"Felt this. Used to be so fat. Was even called baboy. Choosing proper words not to offend is very important. We don’t know what other’s might be going through why they are in that situation. Body shaming is an act that affects people’s well beingemotionally as well as psychologically. Gaining and losing weight is a choice not unless the choice is a must as it might jeopardise your health."

"I totally agree with you. Although I don't know you, I hardly see any difference in the 2 photographs you posted. If words from people don't edify you, bin them!"

"I totally agree! They should not make people feel bad about themselves. They don't know the reason. It can be their own choice or it also can be caused by an illness or side effects of medicine they take."

"mam apple maganda kapa din ! super bait pa sa mga fans! some people are just so insensitive. padalos dalos sa mga words body may change but your pretty smile dont change"

""tumaba" and "pumangit" are two very different words. Everyone can slay regardless of their size."

"…as long as you feel good and beautiful inside and out, you dont have to worry about anything.."

"You are so beautiful whatever they say ms Apple. Keep up the good work"

"Your beautiful whatever is your size. Dont mind them. Inggit lang cla"
