Nanawagan si Press Secretary Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles sa mga opisyal ng government-owned TV network na "People's Television Network" (PTV) na imbestigahan ang kanilang desk editor na nagpakawala ng tweet kaugnay ng insidente ng pamamaril sa Ateneo De Manila University noong Linggo, Hulyo 24, 2022.
Mababasa umano sa buradong tweet ng desk editor na si Den Macaranas ang "Nagbarilan na mga Pinklawan at Dilawan @ateneo".
"Pursuant to this, we called the attention of officials at PTV where he is allegedly a desk editor, to investigate the matter."
"We assure the public that if true, we will take the appropriate action," saad ni Angeles.

Samantala, kinondena nina Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. at Vice President Sara Duterte ang naturang insidente.
"We are shocked and saddened by the events at the Ateneo graduation today. We mourn with the bereaved, the wounded, and those whose scars from this experience will run deep," saad ni PBBM sa kaniyang Facebook post nitong Linggo.

"Such an act of violence should have no place in our society, especially in a place of learning — which is supposed to be considered a safe space for everyone, for the students mainly," saad naman ni VP Sara.
