Kahapon ay tumugon na si ABS-CBN news anchor Karen Davila sa trending na video clip ng tila sarkastikong biro umano sa kaniya ni Senadora Imee Marcos, nang kapanayamin ng batikang broadcaster ang kapatid ni President-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos, Jr., sa programang 'Headstart' nitong Miyerkules, Hunyo 1.
Ang Headstart ay kilalang programa ni Karen tuwing umaga na mapapanood sa ABS-CBN News Channel.
Mapapanood sa kumakalat na video clip na akangiting ipinakilala ni Karen ang senadora sa kaniyang televiewers.
"Joining us this morning on Hot Copy, we have with us, this is gonna be a very colorful discussion. We have Senator Imee Marcos. Senator Marcos, good morning to you," pagpapakilala at pagbati ni Karen kay Sen. Imee.

Saad naman ni Karen sa kaniyang latest Facebook post ngayong Miyerkules ng Hunyo 1, "Let me set the record straight on this one. Sen Imee Marcos on #ANCHeadstart joked about me still being in the PH after her brother’s victory to which I replied… 'ALWAYS HOPING FOR THE BEST FOR THE COUNTRY' Yan po ang sagot ko."
"Napikon po ba ako? Hindi po. Sen Imee Marcos also sent me an apology by text after the show. All good. Salamat!" paglilinaw ni Karen.

Matapos nito ay nagpakawala naman siya ng isang makahulugang tweet.

Hindi naman tinukoy ni Karen kung para kanino ito, subalit espekulasyon ng mga netizen, mukhang kaugnay ito ng naging trending na panayam niya kay Sen. Imee.
Niretweet naman ni Karen ang post ng isang 'Rommel Lopez' na batay sa kaniyang deskripsiyon ay isang journalist din.
