Bukod sa spiritual gift na mass card, may mensahe rin ang senador: "It is with deep regret that I have learned about the passing of your beloved, Ms. Crizzle Gwynn Orbe Maguad. I wish to convey my deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family for your loss."

Samantala, kinuwestiyon ni Lovella ang batas ng pumoprotekta sa mga batang "kriminal."

Dahil sa hirap at sakit na nararamdaman, kinuwestiyon niya ang batas na umano’y nagbibigay-inspirasyon sa mga suspek upang magtagumpay ang mga ito sa kanilang masamang plano.

Ayon kay Lovella, tinanong ng isang menor de edad na suspek ang police na tila alam umano nito na hindi siya makukulong.

“One perpetrator asked the police few days after she murdered my kids ..”di ba hindi ako makulong kasi 16 pa lang ako? Saan nyo ko dalhin?” It showed that she was well oriented with the law – she (they) knew how to play with the law but never her/their responsibility after enjoying her/their right,” ani Lovella sa kanyang Facebook post noong Pebrero 12.
