Sa datos na ipinakita ng Comelec, aabot sa P65,745,529 ang registered voters para sa May 2022 polls na mas mataas kaysa sa 61 milyong rehistrado noong May 2019 polls.
“We haven’t seen this kind of increase…this sort of thing is sort of historic in terms of the number of people that actually registered,” aniya.“It is gratifying to see that the public is so mobilized and is so intent in exercising their right to vote, especially after news came out that the people wouldn’t vote,” dagdag ni Jimenez.
