Sinimulan na ng Muntinlupa City government ang pagbibigay booster shots sa iba't ibang vaccinations sites nito noong Nobyembre 19.
Ayon sa City Health Office (CHO), nakatanggap na ng booster shots ang 183 fully vaccinated healthcare workers na kabilang sa A1 priority group, sa unang araw ng rollout.

Sa naturang bilang, 178 ang nakatanggap ng Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine bilang booster shots habang lima naman ang nabigyan ng Sinovac Life Sciences' CoronaVac vaccine.
Sa mga vaccination sites, 131 healthcare workers ang nabakunahan sa city-run Ospital ng Muntinlupa (OsMun), 23 sa SM Center-Muntinlupa, 17 sa Ayala Malls South Park, at 12 sa Sucat covered court.
Kaugnay nito, ayon sa DOH, "boosters shots are “doses administered to a vaccinated population that has completed primary vaccination series, when, with time, vaccine effectiveness has fallen below a rate deemed sufficient in that population, as indicated in the EUA [Emergency Use Authorization] issued by the FDA [Food and Drug Administration].”
