Nakapagpulong na ang management committee (ManCom) nitong Lunes, Oktubre 27, ukol sa pagpapalawig ng panahon ng voter registration, ayon sa isang opisyal ng Commission on Elections (Comelec).
Sabi ni Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez, dumalo sa pagpupulong si Chairman Sheriff Abas at ang iba pang commissioners.
“We had the management committee meeting earlier today where the chairman and the commissioners consulted with different regional directors and officials of Comelec,” sabi ni Jimenez sa isang virtual press briefing.
“They are all there and they listened to the arguments. They participated in the discussions, but they reserved judgment until later when they meet,” dagdag ni Jimenez.

“We are preparing the recommendation now and it will be submitted to the banc on Wednesday,” pagbabahagi ni Jimenez.
Sasailalim sa deliberasyon ng en banc ang rekomendasyon sa Miyerkules, Setyembre 29.
Naunang nagpatawag ng emergency meeting si Abas para matalakay ang mga panawagan ng pagpapalawig sa voter registration para sa Halalan 2022.
Nakatakdang matapos ang period of voter registration sa darating na Setyembre 30, Huwebes.
