Hindi makikialam ang Malacañang sa impeachment complaint laban kay Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen.
Si Leonen ay nahaharap sa kasong impeachment dahil umano sa hindi paghahain ng Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Networth (SALN) noong siya ay nagtuturo pa sa University of the Philippines (UP). Ang impeachment complaint ay ipinadala na sa House committee on justice sa pamumuno ni Leyte Rep. Vicente Veloso, dating mahistrado ng Korte Suprema.
Sinabi naman ni Presidential spokesman Harry Roque, batay sa Konstitusyon, ang kasong impeachment ay nasa hurisdiksyon ng Kamara. Hindi makikialam ang Malacañang sa bagay na ito, ayon pa sa kanya.
