“We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our country’s greatest athletics assets, Rafael Poliquit,” sambit ni Castillo. “As a three-time National MILO Marathon King and member of the National Track Team, he has been an inspiration to many. The values that he exemplified on and off the track have inspired countless individuals to persevere and strive for success not just in sports, but also in life.”

“We are happy to work alongside MILO in our other events such as the Philippine National Games and the Philippine Athletics Championships. We are hard at work in helping our athletics athletes train for the much-awaited event, and with National MILO Marathon winners, SEA Games Gold medalist Mary Joy Tabal and Jerald Zabala in the roster, we are hopeful in delivering a strong performance ahead,” pahayag ni Patafa president Philip Ella Juico.

“We, the City of Tarlac are thrilled to open our doors to all running enthusiasts to celebrate this grand milestone with us,” sambit ni Vlad Rodriguez, National Finals Organizer. “Preparations are underway and we are in close coordination with our organizing committees to ensure that every runner will have a fun-filled experience in Tarlac.”

“We are inspired to deliver another unforgettable season following the successful staging of our marathon series last year,” pahayag ni Castillo. “2018 was an excellent year for the National MILO Marathon as we are the first to be awarded the Silver Label Certification by PATAFA in their inaugural Road Race Tier Rating System.”
