BUKOD kay Megastar Sharon Cuneta, may ilan pang mahuhusay at sikat na artista natin ang kasama sa History Makers Award ng History Channel, na “will be honored for their significant contribution to the nation’s life and culture.”

Sharon at Lea

Kabilang din sa mga pararangalan si Lea Salonga, na nakatanggap na ng Tony and Laurence Olivier Awards para sa musical niyang Miss Saigon in the early 1990s.

“The only thing I can say is... wow! These are the huge names to be listed alongside – people I truly respect in this industry,” sabi ni Lea.

Nagulat naman sa parangal si Aga Muhlach, dahil naging in and out of showbiz daw siya at last year lamang siya bumalik.

“I am grateful... it’s like I just started again last year. But still I got honored with awards and a box-office hit! I really appreciate all these blessings. Thank you,” ani Aga.

Sobrang thankful din sa award ang actor-turned filmmaker na si Albert Martinez, na 38 years na sa showbiz.

“I’ve been doing what I love to do and will continue to do it for as long I still can. I’m really out of words. I’m not good at this,” reaksiyon ni Albert.

Kabilang din sa awardess, siyempre pa, ang actress-turned politician na si incumbent Batangas Rep. Vilma Santos.

“It is indeed a privilege to be acknowledged as one of the awardees. The title itself ‘History Maker’ is already a huge honor! Kaya thank you very much!” sabi ng Star for All Seasons.

Pasok din ang beterano at mahusay na aktor na si Christopher de Leon: “Are they saying that I’m now a part of history? It’s an honor to be in this same group of luminaries. The price is humbling, exciting.”

At ang huli, ang nag-iisang Superstar na si Ms. Nora Aunor: “Maraming-maraming salamat sa History Channel.”

Ang awards night ay magaganap sa August 11, 2018, sa World Trade Center sa Pasay City.
