Nais ng isang opisyal ng Department of Health (DoH) na maisailalim sa full medical examination ang mga batang naturukan ng Dengvaxia.
Sa Joint-Partnership Meeting with Parent Leaders of DVIs (Dengue Vaccine Individuals) sa Metro Manila, Calabarzon, at Central Luzon, sinabi ni DoH-Region 4A Director Eduardo C. Janairo na hiniling na niya kay Health Secretary Francisco Duque III na kaagad mabigyan ng agarang pagsusuri ang mga naturukan upang matukoy kung mayroon silang nakuhang kumplikasyon sa kontrobersiyal na bakuna.
“My request to Health Secretary Duque is to immediately provide these children medical examination before entering new grade or transferring to a new school,” ani Janairo. “Because if there had been complications and adverse reactions from the vaccines from the children, we could have seen it immediately and provided the necessary health response.”
