UMARANGKADA ang 8th Manila Police District Press Corps (MPDPC) Invitational Badminton Tournament kahapon sa MPD badminton court, MPD headquarters sa United Nations Avenue, Ermita, Manila.

May 13 koponan na kinabibilangan ng MPD, Philippine Star, Mares/Manila Bulletin, Smash It, Baby Falcons, Manila City Hall 1, Manila City Hall 2, Alpha, Pilipino Star Ngayon, Crame, Pasay Tri-Media, Manila Times, at Eastern Police District, ang lumahok sa naturang tournament.

Isang simpleng seremonya ang isinagawa ganap na 8:00 ng umaga, sa pangunguna ni MPDPC president Mer Layson at dinaluhan nina MPD Director Police Chief Supt. Joel Napoleon Coronel at National Press Club (NPC) President Paul Gutierrez.

Laking pasalamat naman ng pamunuan ng MPDPC sa mga sponsor ng palaro sa pangunguna ni Gen. Coronel, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), Philippine Star, at City State Tower Hotel. (Mary Ann Santiago)
