BEIJING/PYONGYANG (Reuters) – Kinondena ng North Korea ang United States kahapon sa pagdadala ng “huge nuclear strategic assets” sa Korean peninsula habang paparating ang isang U.S. aircraft carrier group sa rehiyon sa gitna ng mga pag-aalala na maaaring magsagawa ang North ng ikaanim na nuclear weapon test.
Isang tagapagsalita ng Institute for Disarmament and Peace ng North Korean Foreign Ministry ang naglabas ng pahayag na kumokondena sa pag-atake ng Amerika sa Syria, kasabay ng panawagan para sa “peace by strength”.
“The U.S. introduces into the Korean peninsula, the world’s biggest hotspot, huge nuclear strategic assets, seriously threatening peace and security of the peninsula and pushing the situation there to the brink of a war,” saad sa pahayag, ulat ng KCNA news agency kahapon.
“This has created a dangerous situation in which a thermo-nuclear war may break out any moment on the peninsula and posed serious threat to the world peace and security, to say nothing of those in Northeast Asia,” ayon dito.
