LUMABAS sa publiko sa unang pagkakataon na magkasama ang magkasintahang sina 2016 Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach at Marlon Stockinger sa tribute sa beauty queen sa isang hotel sa Pasay City noong Linggo.

“I am just happy to celebrate this for her. Everyone is here to come and support. I am just very very proud,” sabi ni Marlon sa panayam sa kanya ng ABS-CBN.

Inihayag ng Filipino-Swiss racing driver na dapat magpahinga si Pia pagkatapos ng kanyang reign bago ito bumalik sa trabaho.

“Soak it in, enjoy it and just be proud of what she has accomplished.”

Kamakailan lang inamin ni Pia ang relasyon nila ni Marlon.

“We are together,” saad ni Pia sa panayam sa kanya ng Kapamilya Network. “I’m glad that I finally met somebody who’s very secure with himself and who understands my job, and who’s not afraid to let me have my moment such as right now, now that the competition is happening here. He’s very understanding and we really get along.”

Nagsimulang lumabas sina Marlon at Pia nang magkita sila sa New York noong Setyembre.

Magkasama silang nagbakasyon sa Hawaii para salubungin ang Bagong Taon.

Sinabi rin ni Marlon na hindi niya patitigilin si Pia na gawin ang gusto nitong gawin.

“I say, ‘Just go for it, always go and work hard. It’s 2017, you’re a modern woman. It’s all about just being yourself and working as hard as you can,’” aniya.

Ipinangako rin ni Pia na ibibigay niya ang best final walk sa Miss Universe 2016 coronation sa SM Mall of Asia sa Pasay City sa Enero 30, alas otso ng umaga.

“I’ve had my first walk as Miss Universe, I think you all saw that, right? But at least I will have the best final walk in my home country,” sabi ng German-Filipino beauty queen.

Pinasalamatan din ni Pia ang mga sumuporta sa kanyang journey sa Miss Universe pageant.

Dumating na sa Pilipinas sina Miss Universe 2015 second runner-up Olivia Jordan at Miss USA 2014 Nia Sanchez kahapon ng umaga para dumalo rin sa Miss Universe 2016 pageant.

Nasa Manila sina Jordan at Sanchez para mag-shoot ng behind the scene coverage ng beauty pageant sa tulong ng social media assets ng Smart, ang opisyal na wireless service provider ng 65th Miss Universe pageant.

“Hello Manila! Just arrived and ready to explore with Olivia! I can’t believe we are here to watch Miss Universe,” ani Nia sa kanyang post sa Instagram.

“Twice the #MissUSA love coming your way #Philippines,” saad ni Olivia na matatandaang naging matalik na kaibigan ni Pia sa 2016 Miss Universe pageant.

Nandito rin sina Jordan at Sanchez para suportahan si Miss USA Deshauna Barber at Pia Wurtzbach.

“It has been a joy to watch Pia during her reign. She has inspired me so much. I have been lucky to know her because she is so inspirational and kind and she has been an incredible Miss Universe. The next one will have big shoes to fill! It’s nice to come back year later and just cheer for Pia,” sabi ni Olivia.

“Steve Harvey, if you need help reading that card, I can be his assistant on stage because I remember helping and telling Pia that she won last year so it would be lucky for me to tell someone (that she won Miss Universe) again.”
